Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park



Looking for a storm of fun, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is one of the best choices for you and your family. The water park is located at the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, United States. One can enjoy several water activities in the park including snorkelling. By train – Trains cover the 182 kilometres from Hong Kong in about two hours, including a stop at Dongguan. Through Trains to Guangzhou East Railway Station depart from Hong Kong at Hung Hom railway station in Kowloon and arrive in Guangzhou at the East station. Through train services are operated by Hong Kong MTR.

By bus – Coach Services are available to bring passengers from Hong Kong International Airport to several locations in Guangzhou. Among the destinations are recognizable landmarks like Jinan University on Huangpu Avenue, Garden Hotel and China Hotel. The trip takes about 3+ hours and costs 250 HKD. There are also cross border bus terminals throughout Hong Kong. One of the Stations is at Austin Road and Canton Road near Kowloon Park.

By boat – There is a frequent ferry and hovercraft service from Hong Kong, Macau, and Haikou (Hainan Island) at the Zhoutouzui Ferry Pier. There are boats from other mainland cities, such as Xiamen, Shanghai, and Qingdao at the Dashatou Pier.


New Nansha Port is operating 4 lines traveling from Guangzhou to Hong Kong, Macau, and the Hong Kong International Airport. The trip takes 75 minutes to Hong Kong. Note that Nansha is very far from the city center, although there are various bus pickup points from the city center and Panyu. The port is 1.6km south of Humen Bridge in Nansha.

Interstate 75 is most convenient for travellers arriving from Atlanta and the Midwest.

One of the best indoor/ outdoor water parks is located in Yongin, South Korea and was opened in 1996. Caribbean Bay Water Park covers a total area of about 242,321,000 square yards. By car – Dubai's only international road border is with Oman at Al Wajajah. Expatriate residents of Oman will require an official permit to exit Oman by road. Visitors do not require the permit. Ensure that insurance is valid for the UAE (preferably before commencing the journey). By bus – The Government of Dubai operates a network of buses linking Dubai city with the capitals of the other six emirates of the UAE. The buses run under the name Emirates Express and operate from various bus terminals in Dubai.

To/From Abu Dhabi: Buses operate every 40 minutes from 6.20am from both Dubai's Al Ghubaibah bus station and Abu Dhabi's main bus station.
To/from Sharjah: Frequent buses run between Dubai and Sharjah. There are several different routes and buses depart from various bus stations in Dubai including Al Karama, Gold Souq, Baniyas Square, Jebel Ali and Al Ittihad Square.

To/From Al Ain: Buses operate every hour from both Dubai's Al Ghubaibah bus station.
To/from Fujairah: The bus to Fujairah leaves from the Rashidiya Metro station and takes about 3 to 4 hours.
To/from Muscat, Oman: al-Khanjry Transport runs a bus from the Ruwi Terminal in Muscat to al-Rigga in Dubai, leaving every day at 6:00am and 3:00pm. The journey takes about 6 hours, depending on how much time is spent at customs. From Dubai the buses leave at 7:00am and 3:00pm. 60Dhs (one way)/100Dhs (return). Show up at least 30 minutes before departure.

By boat – Dubai is a trading hub for dhows from around the Indian Ocean. Travellers wanting to arrive in the city this way will probably need to make their own arrangements with the captain of the vessel. Dubai has an international cruise terminal at Port Rashid. During wintertime Costa Cruises has based one of its cruise ships (Costa Luminosa) at Dubai.

To/from Iran: A boat service by Valfajre Shipping Company leaves Bandar Lengeh on Sundays and Tuesdays at 6:00pm, docking at Port Rashid in Dubai. Crossing the Persian Gulf takes roughly 6 hours.
